Well, it was getting darker and darker and then it started raining a few minutes ago...look what a beautiful rainbow appeared.

look at how talented my cali is...too bad she still is not housebroken. once again i have abandoned my blog because i am so busy surfing through all the talent out there in blogland. i have a trainer coming on tuesday to rectify the housebraking issue. i will also try to update my etsy site soon. i get so distracted shopping on etsy that i forget that i need to take care of my shop. have a happy memorial day weekend!

my poor abandoned blog

hi. i haven't forgotten about my blog, it's just that i've been so busy reading all of the great blogs out there that i neglected my own. there's a sale going on over at my etsy shop on scarves and spring inspiration boxes. i have new rings,necklaces and pendants to add to the shop but here is my dilemma...i'm new to the whole digital camera thing and every time i try to take a close up of say a ring for example it comes out with a total glare. if someone has any suggestions how i can photograph without this happening please email me. maybe there is something that i'm supposed to set up in the camera itself...help. i am also having some handy man work done here at home. when the dust has settled and i do my spring cleaning i will have some new pics. i'm currently trying to redo my living room/dining room. i live in a condo and it's one open area. i'm just changing out some of the accessories, not the furniture. i'm trying to do a french fleamarket kind of thing...not that i've been to france or anything...i'm now on the lookout for some damask pillows, maybe a glass bell cloche and or an urn. i've looked in marshalls, tj maxx, home goods and even home depot expo, joann and michaels. any suggestion anyone? i'm also going to try target. i even looked on etsy. i'm going for a blue and green theme. i bought some cool scrapbooking paper from michaels last night and covered a couple of books for the fireplace mantle. it's such a cheap and easy solution and i definitely recommend trying it. the paper was like 29 cents each. i love simple cheap and easy decorating ideas! i also went to the christmastree shop on saturday and picked up a cute cherub that is really supposed to be for outside but i'm going to use it indoors. only $3, what a bargain!

i got in the easter mood and colored some eggs today. the colors are so vibrant...i can't believe the kit was only 97 cents at walmart. i also got the cute green egg tray there for $1 something...
